Gold
Gold is necessary to buy supplies from traveling merchants.
Food
The town must have food to survive, if your food runs out people will start to die. Each Person in you town must have 1 food a day.
Ammo
Soldiers fight better with ammo, if the ammo runs out the soldiers can still fight, just not as effectively.
Metal
Metal is necessary in many upgrades.
Wire
Wire is used in some upgrades. Wire is only available from traveling merchants.
Ore
Ore is used in the forge to make metal.
Coal
Coal is used in the forge to smelt metal
Wood
Wood is used in some upgrades. It is also the primary fuel for the forge.
Radio
The radio is used to communicate with travels.
The higher the radio the better chance you have of people coming to your town.

Claiming Land
Send your soldiers out to claim land, the amount of land claimed is equal to the about of soldiers sent, but be careful while soldiers are claiming land they cannot defend your town.
Shelter
Each shelter takes up 1 building space and provides 2 more population space
House
Each house takes up 1 building space and provides 4 more population space
Silo
Each silo takes up 4 building spaces and provides 100 more food space
Fortifications
Each fortification takes up 4 building spaces and provides 1.5 more defense
Research Center
Each research center takes up 6 building spaces and provides the ability to get upgrades
The Forge takes 1 ore and 1 coal or 2 wood and produces 2 metal.
The Forge also allows you to forge 5 bullets from 1 coal or 2 wood, and 2 metal
It has been 50 days since you first arrived in this town you have faced many battles, but you are nowhere near safety. You walk through your town. The villagers are tired from last nights fight, but they are still prepared to fight. Suddenly a villager runs up to you. "come quickly" He shouts at you "A merchant is approaching". This is good, merchants always bring up yours and the villagers spirits. Once you reach the wall the merchant looks you in the eye and says "I have some legendary objects that may help your city". You smile at the prospect of such a great opportunity. "You may only have one item though, and I will probably never return to your town so choose wisely" he concludes.
Yesterday marked a great day for your city, you built your second fortification. You have begun to notice that this fortification are a very powerful tool against these zombies. As you look at the wall of metal that the fortification consists of you get an idea. You run to your head builder, and he confirms that our idea would work. If your town can build 10 fortifications and have the level 5 walls you could hold of the zombies through any attack, you would no longer have to worry about people dying.
The day started out like any normal day. You walked through your city talking to citizens and encouraging people. You turn around a corner and see a gathering of your citizens. You walk into the group and you hear the "pastor" preaching about how zombies are a gift from Zomgulor. The preacher begs people to walk out of the city and git bit so they can reach enlightenment. "This is crazy" you yell. but people are interested in what he has to say. You can call this meeting to an end, or you could continue to let people worship Zomgulor.
The meeting disperses and the religion and it's zealots will soon be forgotten
you are deep in a nightmare about the first break out. you dream about your wife and three kids, they had just been bitten and they turn to you and you have no choice but to run. You couldn't bring your self to kill your family, but if you had killed your family there would have been more time for other people to run and more survivors. You blame yourself for the lives of many, because of your cowardice. You wake up as you hear a banging on your door. "General", a voice screams, "the walls have fallen and zombies are on the streets we need to evacuate." You hop out of bed and grab the rifle by your bed and run outside. Some citizens are fleeing while others are fighting. It is chaos. The zombies are killing people left and right. You remember your nightmare from seconds before. You need to decide on whether you're going to fight or flee.
You are in a meeting discussing the zombie problem and how the town is going to either fix it or set up defense so good zombies are no longer a concern. You are part way through your sentence when a scientist runs through the door and yells, "I know how to make a cure." This scientist has been working on a cure since before you got here and you are pleased to know that he has found a cure. "well I think I do. If you want me to try come find me at the lab in 66 days. You will also need to find me a serum" the scientist says to you as he walks out the door.
